Default Describing the Villages

We purchased property last week in Buttonwood and while signing our new lease on life we met with one of the sales managers. He was a very nice guy from Scotland ...

Being ecxited about our future home ,we asked him what made him come from Scotland to The Villages ...He replied ..."what I tell people from home is summed up in one sentence -- The villages is like a Docked Cruise ship ----
Always something to do, places to eat, entertainment and new friends on every deck "

We thought that really hit the nail on the head.

This is one of the best descriptions of The Villages I've heard!

I agree with the cruise ship analogy except when I leave my house in TV and come back in there isn't someone who mysteriously makes my bed, tidies my room and folds my toilet paper and towels into that fancy origama design.

Default I liken it to ......

Seeing the duffers around here with their canes, walkers, wheel chairs, et al, I liken it to more like God's waiting room with privileges.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Be a gentleman, remove your hat/cap when entering a building and dining out!

Rhod does have a way with words. He is truly a nice guy and one of the reasons why I consider TV such a special place to live. When he was a sales rep for TV, I happily recommended him to many -- both here and live.

I leave and come home and the bed is made, everything is tidied up but there is no origama.
