I rarely brick and mortar shop. Doesn't matter where the shop is at the squares. I already bought it online

Default Can't Wait for Talbots

Actually, I live near Spanish Springs and I am really excited about Talbots opening there. Their clothes are timeless and classic. Chicos is a little too fussy for me.
At any rate, if you really like a store's clothing you will travel to it and if Talbots were in Lake Sumter or Brownwood, I would go there. I know there is a younger group that have moved to Brownwood but hey, I am in my 70's and shop at Talbots online so I am sure there are more like me.

I cannot wait for Talbot's to open. No, I no longer need business clothing, but I certainly need good looking casual wear and formal gowns for cruising and traveling. I love the stores in SL but there is nothing like a Talbot's. I also like the fact that I can look on line at their clothing and then go try it on at the store. I can buy on line and return to store if I have to, it's all good from my perspective. Anything that improves TV for future investors is all good.

I am also pleased to see SS being "re-born". When we moved here SS was the center of The Village Universe, it was absolutely beautiful. I was sorry to see it being allowed to deteriorate, but this younger generation of the Morse family seem to be bringing it back to its former glory.

I shop Sumter Landing and Spanish Springs and I have to admit to never, ever, going to Brownwood. I went a couple of times to the Saturday Farmer's Market, but that got old pretty quickly.

Just yesterday I went to the Library on 466A and that will be the last time. What a zoo. 466A is now a speedway.

I live near Brownwood, am in my fifties, live on a semi-fixed income, and will very happily drive to the grand opening of Talbot's in Spanish Springs. I LOVE Talbot's -- when I lived in Richmond I drove close to an hour to shop there! Stylish clothes for classy women at whatever age.

Where can I get one of these mirrors?

On a more serious note, we live in Hillsborough and travel up to the SS area often to shop since the options in Brownwood are still relatively meager. For now, that appears to be the place for almost any store to prefer.

What do you invest in? Expensive over priced cloths that I can buy at Good Will for $4. Lots of pricey stores don't make. Good example is Macy's closing stores left and right. Lots of stores around here will be gone in Five years.

In my very first round of golf here as a renter, I was put with a rather large group with a generic nickname for animals...that plays regularly together.

We heard a siren on one of the holes and one of the guys smiled and said... "another tee time opening at Palmer."

It took a minute for that to sink in and while I recognized it as an attempt at 'gallows humor'...I personally didn't find it amusing.
