The lead story in the Feb 2010 POA Bulletin indicates that once approved by the numbered districts, it will make it possible to use funds from the lawsuit settlement with the developer in March, 2008, to refurbish the major recreation trails in the administrative area of the VCCDD north of CR466.

Don’t know if that includes all of the trail widening proposed by the Engineering survey but it should go a long way to cover the multimillion dollar trail widening project without burdening the budgets of the numbered districts that these trails run through.

This should be good news for all who travel these narrow cart paths daily and esecially for those whose homes and annual maintenance assesment is normally used to maintain these paths.
