We’ve had problems too, although they are the only shuttle service we’ve tried since purchasing in TV 2 years ago for periodic visits. I think they are having employee problems, like most businesses.

In November the driver was half an hour late picking us up from the airport, and there was no one in the office to answer the phone since it was early morning. When he arrived he had no comment about being late.

Our previous visit they came ONE HOUR early to pick up my son to go to the airport, at 3:30 a.m.!! Luckily he’s a light packer and ran out in 5 min.

Before this we had been very happy with their service. Something is going sideways lately.

I used them in January and again in February. Both times, they arrived within 5 minutes of their appointed time.

I received text updates and I could even track the progress of the driver on my phone...

The only hiccup I've had was when my plane was late arriving @ Orlando. I called them from the tarmac and they told me the driver couldn't wait, as he had others to take care of. They put me on the next pick-up, so I had lunch and a beer at the airport and was on my way an hour later...

Is there parking in Brownwood to leave your car, say for 5 days?

Never happened to us. We look at the map to see where they are. My son and daughter-in-law law were suppose to be picked up this week at 2:41. They got there at 2:26 and I went back to bed.

Hired Groome to transport 3 guests to Orlando early am received text nite before pickup would be 6:10 to 6:18 am. morning no show called office assured pickup would occur in next 10 minutes. 20 minutes later received call from driver looking for our address when retold where house was he advised that he was over 20 minutes away and would have trouble getting passengers to airport on time. Had to get dressed and drive people to Orlando myself. DO NOT USE GROOME !

With gps today, how can a driver get lost. Probably overbooked

It could happen if the OP lives in one of the newer sections. Since those roads and houses didn't exist before, Google maps, WAZE, and in-car GPS systems take some time to learn those addresses.

I've used Groome to Brownwood and back to my house on one occasion and they were very on time.

I did miss a call an hour before as I was getting ready to leave and had to call the lady back and verify that I was still on schedule. The guy picked me up exactly on time. I was thinking wow be ready before the time stated as I was still finishing breakfast and he had to wait a few minutes for me to gather my packed bags.

Riding back from the airport as soon as the Workman shuttle turned into Brownwood the driver was right there standing outside his SUV parked behind the shuttle. I was very impressed with their service. And this was last year back when my new neighborhood wasn't on google maps yet. Maybe I just got a good driver.

Plenty of parking. There were numerous empty spaces. I was parked there for a week over on the right side. Only problem I had was my car was a little dirty. I've been spoiled having a garage. Outside of that my car is a porta-potty on wheels for birds. I'm thinking of putting men/women stickers on the roof with little bird pics!

That's the price you pay for home pick-up...

If you want less stops, use Workman, which only stops at the Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter and the Brownwood hotel...

Dragging my suitcases out to my car, throwing them into the trunk, driving to a hotel and park. Then unloading my car again to go sit on a bench waiting for the one-hour bus ride to leave does not sound like fun. I really enjoy the home pickup!!
