That's the price you pay for home pick-up...

If you want less stops, use Workman, which only stops at the Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter and the Brownwood hotel...

We like Workman because they make only two stops: Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. They do provide shuttle service to and from the two pickup points for a modest fee but it is no problem for us to get to Lake Sumter Landing and board there. We can be sure of only one more stop--Brownwood--before leaving for the airport.

I fly 3-4 times a month for work and have found Workman to be the most reliable. Its a short drive to Brownwood and I'm guaranteed to be picked up. Amazon struggles to find my house, so the last thing I need is someone else struggling to find it when I absolutely need the ride.

Sharing one's positive experience with a company after someone has said "DON'T USE THEM" is not blaming the victim...

Hired Groome to transport 3 guests to Orlando early am received text nite before pickup would be 6:10 to 6:18 am. morning no show called office assured pickup would occur in next 10 minutes. 20 minutes later received call from driver looking for our address when retold where house was he advised that he was over 20 minutes away and would have trouble getting passengers to airport on time. Had to get dressed and drive people to Orlando myself. DO NOT USE GROOME !

We’ve used them several times and never had any problems. Always on time. And friendly.

Groome

Have used them about a half a dozen times and only issue we had was the last time they were a good half an hour early, but expected the passenger to go even though we got the alert in the morning that he was still a half an hour away… Fortunately, it worked out But inconvenient

That's odd...I used them twice recently and everything went as scheduled. It was great!

I Have Used Groome Several Times To And From Orlando International

I experienced no issues. Drivers were punctual and seemed to be as knowleable as I would expect in an airport tranportation agency.

We’ve had problems too, although they are the only shuttle service we’ve tried since purchasing in TV 2 years ago for periodic visits. I think they are having employee problems, like most businesses.

In November the driver was half an hour late picking us up from the airport, and there was no one in the office to answer the phone since it was early morning. When he arrived he had no comment about being late.

Our previous visit they came ONE HOUR early to pick up my son to go to the airport, at 3:30 a.m.!! Luckily he’s a light packer and ran out in 5 min.

Before this we had been very happy with their service. Something is going sideways lately.

The answer is Workman. Always been on schedule.

Despite having an email with a stated pick up time of 3 a.m., Groome failed to pick me up. They admitted their driver overslept. The problem is that there is no emergency contact outside of office hours. I drove myself and needless to say it was a close call to make the plane.

I used them in January and again in February. Both times, they arrived within 5 minutes of their appointed time.

I received text updates and I could even track the progress of the driver on my phone...

The only hiccup I've had was when my plane was late arriving @ Orlando. I called them from the tarmac and they told me the driver couldn't wait, as he had others to take care of. They put me on the next pick-up, so I had lunch and a beer at the airport and was on my way an hour later...

Is there parking in Brownwood to leave your car, say for 5 days?

Never happened to us. We look at the map to see where they are. My son and daughter-in-law law were suppose to be picked up this week at 2:41. They got there at 2:26 and I went back to bed.

With gps today, how can a driver get lost. Probably overbooked

It could happen if the OP lives in one of the newer sections. Since those roads and houses didn't exist before, Google maps, WAZE, and in-car GPS systems take some time to learn those addresses.
