Professional dance instructors often do this, and also ask singles to dance, to try and interest potential students in taking dance lessons..

The person (a "he" who pretends to be a "she") sometimes dances 3' in front of people. That is just revolting.

Squares are crowded..even outside makes me nervous because I still believe quite a number don’t even live in TV..should be monitored.. shouldn’t be free for just anyone beside Villagers and their guests

How sad that view dancing as a way of drawing attention to themselves!! Probably true of walkers, runners or anyone moving their body and exercising. Maybe everyone needs an indoor bike!

There's one that goes to Brownwood and dances in a short skirt. When it bends over, you can see the family jewels. I'm told this person also plays ladies softball. :ohdear:

A lot of the people are from surrounding communities. The Squares are open to the public. Our amenity fees do not pay for the music. The funds for the performers come from the square merchants and Sumter County Tourism tax. You will see an increase in residents as the surrounding areas continue to grow.

Interesting negative take that some have over people dancing. All squares have a stage for the band that play a lot of music that can be danced to. The squares provide a 500 by 500 foot cement area in front of the stage... So obviously its a dance floor. Why would people have a issue with dancers? Whether they are good dancers or not they seem to me to be having a great time.
