Seems like those are the rules. And if you break them Susie, Duck! ;)

The VCDD is the authority and gave SusieDuck an answer.

No means no!

Golf paths or Mulit-mogel paths?? Course we know only GOLF CARTS can be driven on the Golf courses with includes the paths around the courses. You need to check with the scooter club. Not saying the VCDD is wrong but why would moped be any different that Bikes. AS far as I know You don't have to have motorcycle license to operate scooter 49CC or less. If you drive in on the roads then it has to be licensed and insured. IF the VCDD has restricted mopeds 49cc or less on the muti-mogel paths then I think GOLF carts, bicycle's, runner's, walker's should be restricted also...

Here's a link to what vehicles can and cannot use the multimodal paths....no mopeds. Scroll down to "Share the Path"

THAT SUCK's So LSV's can't use the mogel either Cause they are license for the street and can go over 20 MPH. So if I convert my GOLF CART to LSV I am limited to street us only cause it can go over the 20 MPH speed limit and licensed?... IF that's the case then 90% of all golf carts in the villages should be restricted cause they go over 20 MPH! Final found something I don't like about the villages, I sure there more. Add this to my list.

The law is the law . . . . . . . but it would seem to me a scooter traveling no faster than 20 MPH on a multimodal (and not passing anyone other than a walker or bicyclist) is a much safer arrangement than a scooter on Morse or Buena Vista doing it's maxed out 30 - 35 MPH. If you've never seen it, Scooters & Bicycles in the circles is just flat scary.
