I love facebook too. We keep in contact with so many of our friends that we have met while traveling. In fact today I was chatting (live) with a friend from England.

I just signed up for SKYPE the other day. Has anyone had any luck with it ?

Yes, I use facebook....I think I am a junky....LOL. Like everyone said it's great to keep up with old friends and family. I have had people contact me that I haven't heard from in over 40 years.

I use Facebook. Look in at least once a day. Got to see daughters new puppy for the first time on Facebook. Also get to see pictures of our great grandson.

Add me to the FB list! My friends started with mostly coworkers, but I've added many TOTV regulars to my list of friends. As already stated, it's can become addictive.

i use facebook to connect with folks around the world with shared interests.,especially useful for finding folks with similar health or lifestyle issues to share experiences with.

My husband loves FB! I have had to resort to threatening to pull the plug.

Doesn't he know he has more important things to do? Like cook my dinner and make me cookies.:icon_hungry:

I hear a different threat from my wife. It's usually on a Friday night when I'm on the computer with the mouse in one hand and a Miller Lite in the other. It goes like this: "NO POSTING!" :shrug:

FB addictive??? I agree with all the above posters. But my real addiction on FB is called Farmville. It's an application. You build a farm, watch the crops grow (If you don't harvest them in time, they die.), tend to the animals, etc., etc., etc. It brings back the 'good old days' when I used to set up a dollhouse. I use Facebook, but it is annoying when you have a "friend" who needs to put every thought and picture on his site. I hate to dump him, but when I go to FB all I see is one or two "friends".

Yes Halle has threatened to pull the plug but I do love using Facebook, I’ve reconnected to family I haven’t seen or heard from in 30 years or more…Of course Halle says she’s ready to pull the plug even if the doctor says “But lady it’s only a cold” :a20::a20:

We use Facebook every day. All our kids and grandchildren are on. It is a wonderful way to keep in touch with family and friends.
