No more pet waste in the mail trash bins, Do you really think no one will not still use the trash bins?.

Installing a pet waste can.............
Then a disposal truck will have to be purchased and one or more employees hired to go around a dump the dog poop.
I agree with other posters the majority should stand up for not eliminating the trash cans!

I don't think the dogs will be able to read these notices and you can't trust the owners that already have difficulty reading other notices about not leaving their old telephone directories at the mail stops. Guess some folks believe that their amenity payments cover picking up anything they leave behind.

In my district, there is no majority rule. The district (8) is operated by the developer's peeps, and will do pretty much as they see fit. When the owners take control sometime in the future, the game changes, as do the rules. For example, no overnight parking of trailers, RV's , trucks etc. on the roads overnight. Right now they can park for 72 hr., if they don't pose a safety hazard. (typed at my kitchen table as I gaze out the window at the windshield of a class "A" motor home about 20 feet away. No class IMHO

I don't even want to THINK of when the "owners take control". I read this forum too much. The crazy ideas some people have and the selfishness would make any homeowners meeting like a break out from the asylum.

I hope "it" continues just the way it is for a long, long, long, time.:spoken:

Joke time!

Two meatheads are walking in the woods when one looks down and says, "Look dog poop!" The other bends down and smells it, "Smells like dog poop." They both stick there fingers in it, "Feels like dog poop." They taste it, "Taste like dog poop!" One says to the other, "Sure glad we didin't step in it."

I have seen one of these pet disposal stations at Lake Miona Park near where you can walk your dog .DOGIPOT® Pet Waste Disposal Station with Steel Waste Receptacle and Biodegradable Litter Bags | Pet Products | Belson Outdoors That's the park with the boat ramp.

What do you call a jack russell and shih-tzu mix?

A jack sh**.

A chihuahua and a whippit mix?

A chppit.

Sure am glad there are that many Great Danes pooping at our postal stations. They mostly seem to be bichons, Yorkies, poodles, chihuahuas, dauchshunds, etc.

which is worse, finding tied bags along the road and cart paths, or in the trash. either choice is disgusting.

Here's the info from that pdf re: the dog poop:

"On a different topic, I would
like to remind people to be
mindful of their actions.
What I am referring to is
doggie poop being placed in
the trash containers at the
postal facilities. The trash containers
are a convenience for
residents to discard junk mail –
not for doggie poop.
The District will be putting
signs on the trash containers
stating “No Pet Waste.” If people
continue to put pet waste
in the trash containers, the
District will need to consider
alternatives such as removal
of the trash containers. This
unfortunately would penalize
the majority due to the actions
of a few.
"

Bill :)

Yea: dog owners need to pocket that stuff until the get home and use their own trash. P.s. i willnever use another trash bin in TV again barf
