Way too many dogs for sure. I am always amazed when I see a large dog being walked. We live on postage stamps. Poor dog. Needs somewhere to run. And those walking 2 at a time-come on.

Dog is GOD spelled backwards. It is GOD's noblest creature. The give unconditional love. I like dogs and I think people treat dogs as kids, as they should.

My son's bulldog is a very docile, gentle dog. All it wants to do is be petted and gladly rolls on its stomach to be tickled. His first bulldog was a character. He would be dead asleep in the bedroom and if one came throught he door with a pizza, he would be the first one at the dinner table barking for some crust. :smiley:

Have had dogs all my life. Other posters are absolutely correct - If you never owned a dog (or they owned you) you can not possibly understand.

I leave my house for 5 minutes and when I return my mutt must think I have been gone waaaaaay to long. Greets me like there is no tomorrow.

Someday when I die I want to come back as a "Villages dog"...... They are so loved and well cared for here (as it should be). I see them in the squares, everybody wants to pet them and love them up. I see them in golf carts riding around, some golf carts have special boxes or seats for them to ride in. To live in the Villages, to feel so much love, what a life!
