Default Are dogs allowed at the postal stations in the Fenney area?

In the neighborhoods north of Route 44, it is OK to have a leashed dog when you get your mail.

At the mail stations south of 44, like Willow Tree or Swallowtail, there are signs stating that dogs are not allowed. Does that mean dogs are prohibited only in the bocce - shuffleboard - corn toss area or does it mean dogs are prohibited in the entire area around the mail station?

I would guess it is a polite attempt at defining a no pooping area.

For some unknown reason there are a few dog owners who think the areas in and around mail stations and bocce/horse shoe areas are poop areas.

I would imagine 'No Dogs' means no dogs in the area.
However, that will not deter anyone, as it is a well known fact that all signs are only for other people.

As for the bocce - shuffleboard - corn toss areas, why would any self respecting dog owner let them empty out in those areas anyway?

They don't. It is the few who are not and don't care and do not respect the rules.
