Greg,

That remains to be seen.....but since I have too beautiful little grand-nieces named "Katie" and "Allie"......I'm sure your girls are adorable too! But can they spell? Mine can!!!

Neither my dog, Bogey, nor my cat, 2-Putt, can spell. But I love 'em all the same!

They don't have to spell, but they can tell time. They know when 7 AM, 5 PM and 8 PM is. That's their feeding times and snack time.

Re-tire.....thats good news ......for all us "doggie" lovers......

Now we just need to set up a booth on the Squares....so all non-pet owners can come over and stroke our dogs.....bet their BP would drop in a heartbeat!

I am not a dog owner at this time but have been in the past and it was a wonderful experience having our black lab "Maxie" who loved us unconditionally as we did him. I love seeing the dogs at the square---but I get upset when I see them during the really hot weather--I just don't understand what "their parents" are thinking when they bring them out in such hot weather. My husband and I were walking along the waterfront last year---a young couple (obviously not old enough to be Villagers) were in front of us with a black lab puppy- at first I thought he wasn't used to the leash as he was not cooperating but then I realized he was not "heeling" or walking with the leash because he was obviously uncomfortable. I put my hand down on the walkway and it was so HOT---I was just getting ready to tell the owner to "take your shoes off and walk" and you will know what's wrong but they picked him up and left. I am glad they did--- you never know these days who you are confronting and what the outcome may be but this young dog was obviously in pain and its "parents" were completely oblivious. I do love The Village Dogs and seeing them. They are a breed of their own and I have often thought---when I die I want to come back as a "Village dog". Strollers, boutiques, etc., what a life!!!!!!
