The Village of Bradford allows fences on some of the homes. We were allowed to add one to our Wisteria model. There is one on Bednarik for sale that you could most likely add a fence to. It is a Mossy Oak. Our realtor Barbara Lightbody was able to find out that we could add the fence and helped us get ARC approval. Its a nice village and we have a beautiful walking path a block away that runs along a fenced preserve.

Not true. Some Courtyard Villas have 1800 square ft plus. The older villas have much larger yards and smaller garages.(1 1/2 cars) New construction has small yards and large garages.( 2 1/2 cars )

If you buy preowned, most have large birdcages already done. Some even have a glass enclosed section to the side.

There are plenty of dog parks .

I think you may have over reacted. He/she didn't say you are dumb. He/she suggested you might be acting dumb.

Don't buy anything without a fence. I bought a home WITHOUT a fence and immediately regretted it, I was only a block from the dog park but it was a huge hassle going out with the dogs all the time and occasionally in the middle of the night. Also the dog parks are only open dawn to dusk. No fence ultimately was a major decision in selling the house.

I guess we all missed the part of the deed that requires all dogs meet your approval before being allowed in The Villages...anything else you want to regulate? Dog's names? color? age?

Guessing you don’t live in TV proper if you have dogs running unleashed for hours alone. TV has many Responsible Pet Owners. If there is a pet running loose, it’s not because residents ignore the leash laws. Many will try to capture lost pet, and find rightful owner,

We didn’t come from “City Living” so for more than 15 years in TV, Wildlife is abundant everyday. Bears, panthers, coyote packs, bobcats, snagging a dog or two.
6’ gators knocking on your door at 3am. 3 dogs that we know of in TV, drown by gators.
Eagles, hawks love small pets left unattended, with proof of collars under nests.
While venomous snakes are few, they are still spotted in the many protected areas.

Get the fenced yard, you can't add one and we were in the same position. We finally found a cottage villa, it's awesome.

Two senior women in our neighborhood got seriously injured because their dog was not well trained and pull the owner to the ground.

At least one senior woman in east Florida got killed by an alligator because the alligator was going after her dog. The dog ran and the lease made the woman fall.
