See Post No. 35. The form is pretty simple and free to print out. Most notaries are also free and easy to find. I wouldn't pay a non-lawyer $250 to fill out the form.

How do you record it

You just take it to the county clerk and they will receive it and stamp it. You will get a stamped copy proving that it was recorded. Very easy.

I printed the form you linked in post #35. I've looked it over several times. DIY seems like the way go. Thanks for all your efforts regarding this matter.

I love all the do it yourselvers!

So what if you mess up. It is only your children who will face the dread of trying to fix your legal mistakes.

I can't wait for a posting on do-it-yourself open heart surgery! Why pay a doc when we all have sharp knives in the kitchen!

The best DIY lady bird link is "Law Depot.com". They have a more professional looking deed than the other mentioned link. I also did a revocable trust with there form. When you go to their web site just use search, put in lady bird deed Florida.
There is a 1 week free, download your completed deed and cancel subscription. Print it, have it notarized and take to county for recording.

Lawdepot.com will have a Lady Bird Deed specifically for Florida. The other link my not.
