Call Francisco Lopez. I know him for 10+ years. He recently sealed our driveway, lanai, and patio. He does excellent work, is very dependable, and is a really nice guy-- very easy to work with. We have a concrete overlay driveway. In fact all concrete outside has overlay, originally installed by Stone Creations in 2011. The color fades, period, in 3 to 5 years in the sun, and needs to be recolored and resealed. Go Concrete did the 2nd resealing and, when they closed down, we hired Hand Designs to do the 3rd. That didn't go well. The cost was double that of Go Concrete. The "artist" mixed a sample of the right color to match the house prior to leaving one evening. But on returning in the morning he proceeded to mix a large batch of the wrong tint and apply it. They had to redo it. The owner or coordinator of the job was missing in action the entire time and could only be reached by phone. It was an exasperating day. The only good thing was it appears they used a quality sealer.

If your driveway is in the sun, it will fade. On the other hand, our lanai is shaded much of the day and hasn't suffered from the same abuse as the driveway. It hasn't been color treated since Stone Creations first applied it. We do apply sealer the same time as the driveway is treated.

If you are considering concrete overlay, my advice is "Don't. Or, at least, consider how much sun will get it.

I think Adam Kayler is the contractor Tim the Toolman recommends now to paint garage floors since he is so busy.

once concrete cracks, it almost impossible to repair the crack to invisible status,,, 1 can repair it & seal it to prevent the admission of incompressibles & the resultant spalling per fed &FDOT specs, but invisibility ? no,,, if concrete is designed & installed properly the anticipated service life will be 50yrs minimum (even in fl)

good pressure washing followed by sher wms' h &c acrylic sealer,,, pavers may also need more polymeric sand

ALWAYS use a uv-resistant sealer,,, even at that some fade will occur - its the nature of color vs the sun.
