Maybe you’re going too fast and traveling too close. Relax and back off!

People who don't use the turn lane, or wait until the last second to pull into it. This happens a lot with golf carts near the neighborhood Wal-Mart on Heald Way. There is a middle turn lane. USE IT.

People who feel it's their God-given right to have the left lane cleared so they can go 20 mph over the speed limit.

Let's say I'm going 75 in the left lane on I-75 and the right lane is choked with trucks going slower. You come up behind me doing 85 and expect me to immediately clear the left lane for you. Until I have a clear opening, that's not going to happen. I am not going to be forced into a situation where I have to make a difficult merge and slow down below the speed limit just so you can go however fast you wish.

I will never intentionally block a lane or keep someone from getting around me, but I'm not going to make my own situation worse to make yours better. Live with it.

Road widths are generally assigned by road type...arterial, collector, local, etc. Most types do not require 14 foot wide lanes to be standard. Most roads in TV are not substandard.

That means your vehicle does not move forward...period.

Valid complaints have been posted and I agree. BUT to those who say to go with the flow and accept substandard performance because "you're in The Villages".........
I say that if you accept substandard performance, then you are in that substandard group.

People develop bad driving habits over the years, because nobody corrects them. I'm not afraid to use my horn or occasionally become vocal. My wife doesn't like it when I do, but by calling attention to a stupid or dangerous maneuver, I think it just might help.

People adamantly complaining about drivers supposedly incorrectly exiting roundabout from the left lane, when in fact they are legally going straight on through. The complainers should not be entering anyway if there is a car coming in either lane.

One of my faves is the driver who slows down, slows down, makes the turn, and 90% of the way through the turn, THEN uses the turn signal. Very useful, very helpful. Personally, I really enjoy the suspense of not knowing which way they are going until the very end.

For all of you who mentioned golf carts with turn signals on, I apologize. It's me.

Most aggravating are drivers that try to merge from the left lane just before the roundabout bypass when there is no room to do so. This has happened repeatedly at the bypass going south on Morse to Fenney. The alternative for the car in the left lane is to enter the roundabout, but instead they make everyone slow down while they try to push themselves in as if not taking the bypass will gravely inconvenience them. Last week this happened and I had to brake hard as the driver pulled in front of me from the left lane at the last possible moment, almost clipping my bumper. It’s a dangerous bypass.
