Is that still a good route or should I be looking at going through Birmingham to get to 10 and catch 75 to TV? Understanding we may be getting another dose.

Made the trip many times from Illinois. Always leave Saturday and stop for the night in Cartersville, GA just north of Atlanta and go through Atlanta on Sunday morning with little traffic and no problems. We did the Alabama route a few years ago and it was more trouble and about 70 miles longer. But to each their own.
