No it's not. Because about 6:30 last night the OP posted the problem was found and corrected. This would be a much more enjoyable site if people read all the posts before replying. But that is just IMHO.

Maybe one that swallowed one too many roof rats?

Is there a reason that TV's home construction didn't exhaust the dryer vent through the wall adjacent to the dryer location? Pretty easy to clean from that location.

Our laundry room is located in the center of the house. Only way to vent the dryer is through the roof. I would never have anyone clean our dryer vent unless it was done at the dryer and through the roof.

As an aside, I will say that he did NOT go on the roof to check the exit end. He did everything from inside.
Any suggestions?
Sounds like a blockage or kink in the dryer vent line. We used Complete Dryer Vent Services. They were very thorough. They started on the roof at the vent and cleaned all the way back. They used a camera to check the entire vent line and showed us the pictures as well at all the stuff they removed from the line. They replaced our dryer vent line connection with one that was more flexible and cleaned up everything. They may not be the least expensive but they were very professional and thorough. You must have hired the same Bozo I did. Pushed the lint accumulation into a tight pack just short of the top vent. If you have a gas dryer stop using it. Otherwise, get a long length of vent hose, run it out to the garage, or outside, clamp some pantyhose on the end, and finish drying your clothes. Then run a drain cleaner rod down from the flapper on the roof vent to the dryer vent opening in the house. Be prepared for a big mess.
