Yes, it does.

This has come up before. It is not rotting vegetation. It is construction debris in a dump. There have been times when you could smell it from Colony all the way down to Pine Ridge. It's not a "get over it" issue.

I think those affected should figure out who owns the property; and
ask them what they're planning to do about the smell.
I assume the smell is worse because of refuse caused by Irma.

Perhaps one of these has moved to TV. Police seek 'mad pooper' woman jogger who's defecating shamelessly on people's front lawns | Fox News

Landfill supposedly for construction debri. So does an employee climb up on top of every dump truck to inspect or follow each truck and inspect the drop? Does Lake County inspect the site daily?
Recently a super market in TV had to throw away all the food due to power loss.. I hv no idea where it went and not saying it went here...

Still a debris dump. Construction waste when it gets extremely wet and smell. Think about the amount of rain we had That would cause more issues than normal.

That was our major concern when looking at houses in that general area and are Real estate people both outside and inside TV suggested looking at a house elsewhere.

Oh fer cripes sake folks, this is The Villages...so there are no bad smells.

Nor bad restaurants.

Nor bad pet owners.

Nor bad golf etiquette.

Nor bad developer decisions.

Nor anyone that will tell you to move, if you don't love absolutely everything about living here.

Nor........

:D

The bright side is that one day they'll cap it, install a flare stack, and it will be like watching a perpetual Olympic flame. [emoji6]

A sight for sore eyes, no, that's a different thread.
