Sawgrass and the two new plazas on Warm Springs will be great additions to the southern villages, they are digging and placing storm drains at the northern Warm Springs Plaza already today. There are also 3 commercial corners at the intersection of Megisson and Warm Springs that should bring a lot more retail and dining to the south. We can wait for Eastport.

Where did you see the work being done for the Warm springs Plaza?

At the corner there with 301?

I looked on a map and I think it will be about 3 miles south of the Sawgrass Grove center snd they said 3 years to completion which may mean 5 years. So maybe 15 miles from Sumter landing? Something like that.

On the parcel where the gas station was announced to be, right at the stop sign on the northeast corner, they are putting in storm drains today.

Not very accessible in that location. They’ve been digging around in that ditch for a week. Must have struck gold.

They are out of the ditch and working within the parcel. They also tore up a good chunk out of 301 a couple weeks ago on the southwest side I would assume either for utility work or for the magnetic timers for a stoplight system. Also the gas station site will not be golf car accessible but that's okay with me.

I saw them doing that work. A traffic light is needed there especially if you are going south on 301. Yeah, I don’t care about the golf cart access.

55 minutes by golf cart from St Cats to LSL last night. Add another 15 for Eastwood, so still doable. No reason for us to ever go to SS by golf cart.

The new Villages High School will be diagonal to Eastport on 470 and that is scheduled to be completed by fall of 2023. They will continue on to build an additional Elementary and Junior High school there also. The Elementary and Junior High schools on 466 will remain active and expand into the current High School. They have cleared ground for residential housing further west on 470.
