If he is left or right or middle.............people will support a position. The surprise is people are supporting him. :ohdear: |

But how would you do what you are advocating? |

Ed will be going back to Court. Sometimes when you violate a court order the Judge gives you a short stint in the local jail. If that happens, what will Ed do when he gets out?

MDLNB, you read fast. I just attached a PS to my post #86 where I cut you some slack for your assumption because my wording was already up and not edited yet when you went for your weaponized response. You are stretching my intent to fit your agenda. I know that being moderate makes me in the minority in what TOTV has become. . .But whatever I think along those lines — I know that guy needs to stop. He is an embarrassment and hurts his cause tremendously. Ugly mess. He has to stop. And she does not deserve to be stalked — not sure how many times I have to say that for you — I think I need to stop. I have been stalked. But it was not for my opinion. It was a long time ago. …………That stalker was stopped. (I decided to edit out the rest of that here -- TMI.) You, sir, are at your screen, waiting to pounce, taking my words out of context, sliding in your coded buzzwords — and you probably will not stop. . . Angry and spring-loaded, just waiting for someone like me who dares to speak up about the poison consuming our country. Hateful words everywhere, in the air, on the air, on clothes, and bumper stickers, and flags — the national obsession with Us v. Them. It is highly profitable to use the people as pawns. We’re being had. And it has been so easy. I think it might be based in neuroscience because it is a tapping into the brain, tapping over and over, to heighten fear, paranoia, insecurity, and the potential for pure blind hatred. I have listened to people I know talk about the personality changes in a friend or relative who cannot stop drinking the poison. In fact, they seek it daily from their screens of choice. MDLNB. I doubt that you will go back and read what I wrote to you for clarification. I hope you will. There was more than one subject in my post. You missed stuff. But I recognize that I am probably making your day by giving you a target, even though you have to take my words out of context and refuse to see my actual points. The big picture of hatred — all around us — is destroying our country. I stopped by TOTV today looking for a little distraction and damn! I got caught in the usual mire and muck. Anyway, MDLNB, for all the reasons and explanations I have stated repeatedly — and remedially — please stop twisting my words. I do not support stalking nor do I support the hate that is all around us. So please stop. But you probably cannot stop. I can though. Boomer PS: Mr. Moderator, please tear down this thread. |
Will everyone please STOP!

"PS: MDLNB, because I am a nice lady with a bad habit of writing off the top of my head, hitting submit, and then going back and editing within usually not more than a few minutes — I think I need to cut you a little slack." Nope, you don't need to cut anyone slack. If I was out of line, then that's on me. My bad. If you perceived anything I said as anything other than just conversation, then I owe you an apology. Nothing I said was meant as an attack on your view. Have a great week, or what is left of it.:ho: |

Anti-Trump signs all over T.V.? Freedom of speech until someone has a different opinion? He needs professional mental health help. |
McGinty
There is a difference between free speech and crossing the line. He is over the line.
I have no problem with people wearing Trump shirts or Biden shirts. I may not agree with them but I don't obsessed with them. He is trouble waiting to happen. |

No matter what side you are on if the trend in this country continues we'll all be up "poop creek" without a paddle. I can only pray I'll be dead before the worst comes.

Foul t-shirts have a way of triggering a person. In this case she got what she wanted.

Ed is clearly ill. Jailing him is an opportunity to allow him to cool off. He will be reviewed and a judgment, a guess will be made as to if, he belongs in forced treatment. Ed's history, it is clear he has gone off the deep end. Is he a danger? That is a judgment. Law, is at best confusing. You cannot be tried for what you might do. Following that lady home, that is a crime. |

Just like women's clothing can be blamed for sexual assault? They got what they wanted? |
ROFLMAO. So glad I don't visit TOTV much anymore. Sad.
|
We are allowing this moron to gain the attention of way too many people, which may be all he wants. Perhaps he could be persuaded to relocate his failed campaign to a different area where they don't have the "fair share" of village idiots for entertainment?
--- OOPS, I have just contributed to his pathetic quest for attention. ----Sorry. |
There is only one person like Ed McGinty in the whole Villages' area. He is not representative of any group here.
|
Her shirt is no different than his signs. And she is not out yelling at him, following him, going to his house. Freedom of speech is one thing but common sense is another.

Does anyone ever worry about Defamation of Character when they post about neighbors be it man or woman?
Defamation Any intentional false communication, either written or spoken, that harms a person's reputation; decreases the respect, regard, or confidence in which a person is held; or induces disparaging, hostile, or disagreeable opinions or feelings against a person. Defamation may be a criminal or civil charge. It encompasses both written statements, known as libel, and spoken statements, called slander. |

Waiting for the day when Ed and his dingy counterpart in the beat up van(or SUV) run into each other.

I was going from Spanish Springs to LSL a few weeks before the last elects and there was a Trump rally going on at the corner of 466 and Morse. Pro Trump people were on the corner of each side of 466 and holding signs and waving as cars went by. Cars would blow their horns and wave back sometimes in disagreement. It was all harmless and everyone seemed to be having a good time. As I went by the same area on my return trip I noticed two police cars with their lights on on the southeast corner of Morse and 466. I went over to see what was going on and there in the middle of all of the Trump supporters was McGinty and a friend both with their golf carts festooned with vulgar anti Trump signs. The police were about to arrest him when they finally convinced him to leave. Now I have to ask, what did he think that he was going to accomplish with this stunt? Did he think that he was going to change anyone's mind or did he just want to start trouble. I believe that it was the latter. Not only would he like to start a fight but then he would blame it on Trump for being divisive. I don't care what you political beliefs are but that kind of behavior is unacceptable. In fact, I hate all negativity in political campaigns. How about just telling people why you like your guy for a change. Ed McGinty has serious mental illness and if it's not addresses, there is going to be a serious problem at some point. |
