That worked for me when I first changed the thread title. However, having logged off then gone back in to try changing it again the screen didn't show the thread title (other than top right, and clicking that takes me out of editing).

I see what you mean. I suspect that there may be a time limit or another constraint after which you can no longer change the thread title. But, I have emailed the TOTV admin, and I will let you know what they say. Hopefully, we will get to the bottom of this.

Update: The answer I got from TOTV said that they are still working on my question, but they think that only the mods can change a thread title. Personally, I don't think that is exactly correct. I believe that, if you create a thread, you have a window of time during which you can edit the thread title, but after that time period, you can no longer change it.

I changed this one (by adding the "2") using your guidance, but was then unable to change it back, so it's either time-based or one-change only.

So, I finally got an answer from the TOTV software technician. Their answer was that you only have 15 minutes to change the title of a thread. After that, it cannot be changed. I hope this helps.
