Default Egg Salmonella recall

The recent FDA egg recall has reached into The Villages. Today's Daily Sun gave a link to find upcoming codes. My eggs are on the list.

When shoppers panic and drive the grocery story to return a recall product that may or may-not be in fact a health concern
I often wonder if their mode of transportation is equipped with a Takata air bag.

There was a lot of egg and romaine lettuce recall chatter over the weekend. What I picked-up on was that a walmart customer who uses their pick-up service was notified about the eggs she bought. What a wonderful service and way to develop customer loyalty. They know what she bought. She knows that she doesn't need to be diligent about what is recalled. But I don't think she would be notified if she doesn't order her food online.

Winn Dixie knows too if you use the card you sign up for discounts. Do they email if there is a recall item you bought?
Does Publix have a card?

Maybe it's a nice idea but there might be liability issues. What if someone was not contacted?

Problem is that Wal Mart and other grocers have pulled all eggs off their shelves. Tried to buy some yesterday and there were none to be had, Just signs saying they were recalled.

Tell me how to determine whether or not my recalled eggs are a health concern.

Our Takata airbags have been replaced twice. Should we have decided they may not have been a health concern? After all, "only" 20 deaths out of 34 million air bags.

A dozen costs $1.19. Bring them back the next time you go. I can't find the link.
