If you're sick and tired, stay home. If you're sick and tired of staying home, use your head.

Smile

In order to maintain the recommended social distancing, all Town Square visitors must wear a hat with a visor that is 6 feet long and no slow dancing.

My opinion is that they should already be open. Those who
wish to listen or dance should be able to do so. Those who
are worried about the virus are free to stay away.
And then those that go to the squares can pick up the virus are free to go into Publix, Target and Wal Mart and touch everything.

Understand now???

I have a novel idea. Dance with each person holding outward a Crutch. Very close to 6'.

Also I have many other ideas they just come to me out of the blue.

Yea, that's the ticket. That's almost as good as filling up a football stadium with 50,000 people. Pack 3-400 people into the square then send them running all over the place when they are done ... WAIT! Better idea. Keep 'em caged up in the square (provide food, booze, toilets and Rocky and the Elders for 2 weeks) and see how many are shivering, shaking, coughing at the end. I believe they now have portable respirators so it can be a 1 stop end of life shop and we can thank those who gave their lives for the good of all mankind and didn't infect the rest of us as they are carted out by the coroner for volunteering to be "the herd." Those who make it out after the 2 weeks are likely safe and can sell their blood for a $15 City Fire gift card if their blood alcohol content isn't too high.

Road map for TV?
we just don't know what we don't know at this point

your choice to be a risk taker...or to continue to play it safe

latest info seems to be that being inside with other folks for 25+ minutes is a risk
(e.g. flying, trains, restaurants, bars, movie theatres, etc)

everything that I'm seeing points to this lasting a lot longer than any of us would like

stay safe...or if you like, take the attitude of 'devil may care' ...your choice

for the 'devil may care' folks...check out Baldwin Brothers Memorial Care Services...I believe that they are running a BOGO right now

just saying

I think what each person has to consider is to seriously think, yes seriously think before which decision you will make. Will it be sensible, for you?

A huge decision to make, ( consider ) is really the only way to consider the way for you to think.

I think the outcome whatever decision you make will be fine only if you take your time with the decision you ultimately take.

Makes perfect sense to me. Life is full of decisions.

The Villages is currently working with lake Sumter Sheriff's Department on the design of badges to be given out to people to report social distancing violations. people with badges do not have to give proof of frequenting town squares, City Fire or any establishment that promotes fun over fear. Just a desire to take pictures, report their neighbors and shake their heads in disgust. Once the badges are ready, they will be handed out on a first come first served basis. Names of those possessing the new badges will be listed in the Daily Sun, praising their bravery. Once that is accomplished, the entertainment will resume.

Default Refund for canceled Platters performance

Speaking of entertainment, just wondering if anyone else is still waiting for their refund for any Villages entertainment that was canceled. It’s been 2 1/2 months and still no refund for the Platters.
