I totally agree with Skip0453 that the developers' plans all seem to benefit this community beautifully. We may be growing beyond what was originally planned, but it seems the development continues to be an asset, not a detriment. As a retired realtor, I see all this as improving my investment in The Villages and that is all to the good!

You're looking at buying here as an "investment?"

As a 'frog' (here till we croak ), whether our home appreciates or depreciates...won't be our concern.

renew their lease and was not interested in negotiation to renew.

How will they cross the turnpike?

My opinion is there will be two bridges over the turnpike.

I believe one will be north of the Okahumpka Service Plaza and will bring an extension of Buena Vista Blvd. over the turnpike. It will be for vehicles, golf carts, bicycles and pedestrians to cross over the turnpike. This will connect Buena Vista to CR 468 at the Village of Fenney.

The second will be to convert the existing overpass which has been used for cattle and farm equipment and is already located south of the Okahumpka Service Plaza. It will be for golf carts, bicycles and pedestrians. A new multimodal path will cross Rt. 44 and will wind its way down to this overpass. The path will go from the west end of the overpass into Fenney.

That's my guess and I'm sticking to it

Afraid not. Take a look at the menus at Denny's and IHOP.

Several years ago at some Cracker Barrel somewhere in Florida, the waitress brought my Swedish pancakes swimming in one inch of melted butter or oleo. I asked her if she had heard of the cholesterol problem. She said that was how the senior citizens in Florida liked it.
