The one thing (maybe only) thing I don't like about TV is that my 8 foot putts don't drop any more. Unless they're for bogey!

I realize this thread is about "What don't you like about TV", and it's not about TOTV at all. But still, I have to ask Paulandjean the question .....

Would you prefer to pay a membership fee for use of TOTV?

My wish is that all the advertisers prosper; I've gotton so much good from reading TOTV, they have provided a great service and I want the owners to posper as well.

Default Likes and Dislikes

Dislike;
1)The very poor conditions of traps and Greens on Execs because people don't rake and repair.
2)People who refuse to take the right away when appropriate. Causes confusion and potential danger.
3)People who walk in golf cart lanes when sidewalks are provided.
Like:
1)Strong Deed restrictions and covenants
2)Genius of Developer in almost every aspect of this beautiful, well designed place.
3)Enormous number of clubs and activities
My favorite= Rotary Club of the Villages-morning)
4)Reasonable living costs
5)Beautiful Neighborhoods
6) Generally very friendly residents(an exception or two maybe)

Dislikes =limited. Likes = unlimited

Two great points!!

Also don't like that some people use the exact same hand signal (arm straight out) whether they are taking a right or a left in their cart. What gives with that? I saw two of them yesterday.

Kneers-- those golf cart drivers (usually men) who leave their foot sticking out while driving their golf carts.

Footers- same as Kneers but just with foot.

I often feel I have to get way over to avoid these cart drivers who have various appendages sticking out of their golf carts.

I haven't had time to read all the posts here so I don't know if this has been discussed . I'm a relatively healthy 55 year old man but the fumes put out by gas golf cars are making me sick. I presently have the start of a cold & I can't stop hacking when I'm behind one.
Going thru the tunnels there doesn't even have to be another cart in with me but the walls are saturated with these fumes. I know a lot of you out there own these carts but this just can't be healthy!

Bosox...I am guessing that you too are suffering from the same seasonal allergies that are affecting a lot of us right now. Mine started about a week ago and I cough, daughter Helene sneezes and her nose drips, friends have watery and itchy eyes. I have heard it blamed on the Bottle Brush blossoms and it could be the liveoaks, but whatever it is is not good for the upper respiratory.

I know the fumes don't help it. Nurse Nelly...here diagnosing from afar. That will be five cents please.
