Coming from New York, we are automatically skeptical. Paradise is here. There is no bad. Medical care is a little wierd. I miss my mom and my sister and her family. My kids followed us here, not such a great thing!!!! This place is like another country and a wonderful one at that.

Default I don't hate

I can't say I hate anything here. But, there are a few things I don't like. I don't like that there is only one grocery store close to me and I really don't like that my friends who are snowbirds will be leaving next month! I will really miss them. This is a beautiful place live.

Hey Russ- Boston, some days I would be happy with a three putt. A four is a total embarrassment... Hate the game and keep going back...

I hate it when people who've never been here decide and proclaim that 90,000 people got it all wrong.

Honesty on the downside of the villages would be it is getting very crowded, lots of traffic, waiting to get into classes, clubs are closing because they are filled to capacity, homes are very close, not enough gyms, need more softball fields. Restaurants have long waits when snowbirds here. Being as honest as I can here without sounding critical.

the people are wonderful, come from all walks of life and the opportunity to participate in so many different activities is what sells the villages. It's a wonderful lifestyle but I can see why some would prefer a smaller more intimate community. Sometimes when communities get TOO large you lose that intimate getting to know everyone feeling. but overall it's a beautiful fun community filled with many activities.

INTERSECTIONS!INTERSECTIONS! There are so many blind spots, and not enough stop signs/lights where golf carts and cars cross certain streets. A lot of this problem lies in the Spanish Springs side of TV. I must say, that the landscaping has improved, esp by Wal-Mart, but some areas are difficult to navigate. COLONY BLVD and the golf cart path intersection is a dread. When winter birds are here, the line to turn on Colony or cross can reach 1/4 mile for golf carts on the north side ... I'm one of the youngest people in TV driving a GC everyday, touching every path for my business! Other than that, Hate should not be used, because this place is wonderful!

Very nicely worded, and brave of you to post. Hopefully you won't get attacked for expressing your thoughts.

Yes, please. It's like deja vu all over again.

This thread originated in 2007 and the original poster lives in California, not TV.
Please, if you have a gripe, start a new thread. Otherwise we'll have to pummel you with a wet noodle.
