Suggest that you consider the "reconditioned" route where you get all the bells and whistles already on the cart and for less money and a year's guarantee. That's what we did and no regrets; about a month later a headlight went out and they replaced the bulb...no cost. ....barb

Lights, turn signals, horn and reflectors ( not sure where we were told to put them but probably on the sides)

GG, My son-in -law is from Granville, OH. We go there every 4th of July as they have a BIG celebration and parade staring locals. He used to decorate his tricycle and take part in the parade when he was young. I love this little town, and the folks in it. He and his mother graduated from Dennison. His sister and her family live in Cincinnatti. Needless to say, they are all big Bucks fans. My son-in-law's ring tone on his cell phone is the Ohio State Marching Band song.

Blondie! Now YOU are my new best friend. I get so frustrated when I interact with nice people on TOTV and I can't meet them right away when we do get down to TV. I did have a coffee for six new friends just a few days ago. It is like each person is a gift waiting to be opened. I LOVE TV!

I saw Roberto Clementa play at the old Forbe's field. I not sure what this has to do with golf carts?

I am sorry. I missed today's meeting of HTA.(Highjacked Threads Anonymous) I am going to do better. I am going to do better. It would help if I had a sponsor. Maybe.

John, back to your question: I think it's just a marketing phrase to indicate quite a few options included in the cart - there is no requirement for anything on the cart to run it around TV. Recently, I saw a cart that looked like someone took it home from a golf course. It had a top, but no windshield and the driver was holding a flashlight to be seen as he drove as it had no headlights or taillights.
As you said, the phrase would include headlights (tail lights too), legal speed of 20 (I thought) and mirrors. I would imagine it also includes the enclosure.
But I don't believe there is a standard set of items that are required to make it Villages Ready - it's just a neat catch phrase to get your attention. my 2 cents.
