Default Family coming - need help please

We have family coming for the first time since we bought our home here. There are two children (and I'm needing help with what to do and how to do it. Do we have any discounts for Disney now that we own a home in Florida or The Villages and how do I get passes to the Rec centers for them to be able to use the family pool.

Where would I call to get information? Thanks in advance for any help.

You can go to a rec center for passes........Disney does offer discounts for residents only, so if your family are not residents they will not be eligible for the discounts. Not sure how you could get around this but maybe go to a vacation planner.

Go to AAA. They are safe and dependable. Don't fall into any scams for "cheaper" tickets. It's simply VERY expensive to say the least. Then, there's also parking to be paid for. $17

Are you a AAA member? Go to the AAA office and they'll help you with Disney tickets and discounts.
Before you go to a Regional rec ctr for passes, make sure you have all their addresses and birth dates.

Crystal River at Homasassa(Three Sister Springs) is a great place to see manatees. The springs are a constant 72 degrees which is mighty chilly water. Google Manatee Tours - Homasassa for specific tour companies. Also, Homasassa Springs State Park is a great place to see Florida native animals in a nice zoo area. There is even a hippo that is a Florida native. You have to go there for the story of that.

If your grandkids are on the younger side, golf cart rides, dancing in the town squares, the boat ride at LSL are all great fun. Disney, if course, is almost mandatory if under twelve. Over twelve or serious coaster freaks, you might consider Marine World or Universal instead. Don't try to schedule non-stop activities.

Definitely go to AAA for discount tickets and info.

Have a great time and enjoy their visit. Be prepared to take a week after they leave to recover.

If you are a resident of Florida, you AND your grandchildren will get a discount for Disney tickets. We went twice with our grandchildren before a Disney employee said, "For future reference, you and your grandkids are elligible for a discount". We had gotten the discount just for ourselves.
