There is a Publix and several other stores adjacent to Brownwood and I would expect them to be the main shopping area for the villages south of route 44.

It never made sense to me that a town square would be built on the edge of The Villages. Now it makes sense.

Actually, according to google the most direct route via car currently via 301 is 5.9 miles. Not sure how they will connect Fenney via cart paths and multi modals but it will probably be longer than 5.9 miles.

Part of the plan is to bring Buena Vista down to Fenney.

I heard they will build on the land that is just the other side of the two courses and is currently owned by TV - very close or borders 301.
