Default Fishing info

Where can you get a Florida fishing license? What lakes in the Villages can you fish in? Are all of the lakes catch and release? New to The Villages, will be down in January.

You can purchase a license at Wal-Mart, fishing camps, etc. Lots of Lakes. I personally like Lake Panasoffkee in Sumter County.

Default Catch & Release

The Villages lakes are catch and release. Most of the lakes in FL are no deeper than 10-12'. I fished Lake Griffin recently and found depths to 17'. Fishing was great. Catching stunk. Bass weren't cooperating. Crappies (Specks) being taken drifting in open water. Find a school & load up.
