Default Fixed A/C Thank you TOTV!

Read several threads a while back about how the dual run capacitor can fail in our heat pumps, and how to replace them. I had ordered one of these capacitors to have on hand just in case.
Well, last night our AC quit cooling. This morning I went out before breakfast to replaced it and had cool air circulating again 30 minutes later. Thanks to everyone who posted how to do this simple repair. Saved a repair call and bill. Less than $20 out of pocket.

The "contactor" (relay) is another common point of failure. In our unit it sits right by the CAP. I keep 1 of each "in stock" as they are cheap enough. So far in the 3.5 years we've been here we had 1 cap failure on a 15yr old unit. <knock wood> I replaced both parts at the same time.
