Mystified that original poster isn't watching ne s

The original poster didn't see the news last week when the President of the United States SPECIFICALLY suggested that everyone should fly the US flag as a solidarity symbol during the Coronavirus crisis??

Flying one or more US flags (and the POW flag) is 100% legal (lit at night)....

Amen to unity and mutual help and encouragement. It's much needed in a time like this.

It was Medal of Honor Day.

My street in Pine Hills has lined our yards with flags as a sign of solidarity and strength that as Americans we will power through this pandemic! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Wouldn't it be wonderful to see some of THAT on forums, esp ToTV. Too many hostile, angry, and sometimes know-it-all responses.

I hope others don't consider this one...one of those.

Well said

Just curious... Would anybody be offended if I added a Canadian flag to the US one on my villa's lawn? I personally love both countries and love to see us as happy neighbours.

I, for one, would welcome it. I am a US Navy vet who served part of my time in Canada, Vietnam, and around the world. Canadians are, in my opinion, probably the best friends we have in today's world. I would appreciate the show of solidarity at a time when we all can use a friend and ally. God bless both our countries during this crisis.

yep!

Di,
The American flags posted by your neighbors could be sign of appreciation or gratitude for the living Vietnam Veterans. On the 29th of March, Vietnam Vets will be celebrating the day of Welcome Home from Vietnam, a celebration day we didn't get coming home in the late sixties, early seventies.

We are trying to share the message that we are all fighting COVID-19 together and supporting each other.
