Plans have been submitted for a villa neighborhood (Atwood Bungalows) to be built west of Powell Road, between Alden Bungalows and the new Specialty Care Center.

Thank you for posting this information. Would these villas be an entirely new village, or is it that information to be announced later?

Alden Bungalows are in the Village of Collier, which is the area around Sweetgum Executive and Henry Drive. This new addition is the small strip of land between Alden and the back road into Traverse Shopping Center. I couldn't forsee it being anything other than Collier as well. It will be a very short walk to the new Brownwood Villages Health Center that is very close to being finished.

Here is what Atwood Villas looked like on 1/7/18. Most of the underground work appears to be completed. It shouldn't be long before the wall goes up and the roads go in and then new homes start.

If they hold true to form they'll start selling homes by May and be sold out by July.

There was also a recent article on the construction of townhouses and apartments between Powell and Buena Vista along 44A. Also age restricted (similiar to SS townhouses I guess) and I hope was always part of their plan.

Are you remembering correctly? Where did the article appear? The only space in the area you identified is between 44A and Shady Nook Run (Brownwood). As far as I know, TV hasn't announced anything for these empty lots.
