Once the registration is moved how long do we have to get them reinspected in Florida?
Are the inspections done at garages similar to NY or at State Inspections stations?
Is here anything special about the Florida inspections I should be aware of such as rust?
Any information or suggestions to help us along with the process would be appreciated.
Thanks.

There is no vehicle safety inspection in FL like there is in many other states. You do need to have the vehicle with you so they can verify the VIN or if it is in another state there are some forms that you can get to have the PD in that area verify the VIN.
Also, YOU MUST have ALL the owners that you want to have as owners here are with you to transfer the title. We had our cars as "Him OR me" as owners, he was not with me so "our" car (really his sportscar) is now in my name only. I had to sign or NH title over to me so I could register it. It will cost us $80+ to get a new title for that car once he is back down here.
