I have been renting in the Villages for the past five years and really enjoy all of the courses. I would like to play some outside courses. Can you reccomend any? I have been to Baseline, El Diablo, and Spruce Creek. By the way, I don't want any with greens fees that break the bank. Thanks in advance.

There is a league run by villagers that plays at a two to three outside courses a week. Their website says they need singles and not just foursomes. You can check them out here: http://www.homestead.com/troopesgroupgolf/home.html.

If I am not mistaken, this is a "for profit" organization. I don't believe it is run by villagers. I think it is a business run by one individual. If it is, Talk of The Villages would be a great place for him to advertise. If it is a not for profit company, then he is free to post here without charge.

Sorry didn't realize that it was run with any profit. My uncle has played with them and told me it was rather inexpensive. You can remove the reply if you wish.

Join the villages golf club !! Lots of trips outside the villages ..all organised ..with prizes ..singles or couple ... GREAT !! Check out the villages recreation news for meeting times (Hacienda Center ..forgot the times !!)
