My parents where one half year in Sunapee N.H. one half in Fort Myers FL.
Because in retirement or even in the years just short of) alot of your income probably comes from investments. Although both states don't have income tax. NH as I am sure you know has a tax on unearned income ie dividends and interest of aprox 5%. :(:mad:

You can get a licence plate holder that says live free or die if it makes you feel at home.

There are people here that do not drive and have never even learned to drive. They are issued a FL ID that looks like a driver's license but states that it is for ID Only. You get them the same place you get your license. When we first came here, my husband got one (medical condition prevented his driving) and later got a regular driver's license. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all of the info. We are snow birds and spend several months a year renting in TV. It would be nice to get a Florida Only license to use at Disney and to get on some golf courses that ask for Florida ID. See you in December.:wave:
