Our old neighborhood, every week multiple photos posted on website, from cameras, of person with blocked out face, but dog clearly using others yard, and no pick up.
Some found it funny, those whose dog was in pic was unhappy, but it did fix the issue.

Some posted block out the dogs face, they are innocent, post the human.

Outside cameras can be informative and entertaining

That is why you have a driveway camera. Up north, the other day I was quite upset that there was poop on my porch steps. I looked in my camera’s recordings to see which dog, which owner? I found that the animal responsible was a very large raccoon.

Why would someone go to the trouble of bagging it up only to leave it in your driveway.

I guess we should be thankful for small mercies.

Maybe carrying a bag of excrement around with them was not their favorite part of the walk?

I would think……..Everyone. Can’t imagine not having a canine.

At least it was in a bag.

Yeah but why not just carry the bag and dispose properly? We walk our dog daily and after she drops her load we simply use the poo bags to pick it up and continue our walk to discard at home. If you own a dog it is not a big deal. Just like changing a baby’s diaper is not a big deal. And, no, I’m not trying to equate the two - just saying they are both natural.

yes, it has never happened before and, hopefully, will never happen again, but still a shock to the system first thing

I often leave the doggie bag by the curb because I pick it up on the way back. I see no reason to carry it for several miles if I can get it on the return trip. I leave it by the curb, not in someone's driveway. Isn't it possible the person who left the bag would have picked it up on the way back?

A thought to live a happier life:

If you do not know, you have to make up a story. If you are already play pretending, you might as well make up a nice story rather than a mean one. You will be happier and it is all play pretend anyway.

I didn't realize how much I missed a dog poop thread until now.

Indydealmaker 08-14-2024 08:03 AM

Probably just accidentally dropped. Chill.

I think this thread is more about positive vs negative thinking, the poop is just a catalyst.

Actually I thought it was a great response, because I’ve been that person.
I was dog sitting for a friend…taking the pup on two walks a day.
I like dogs, but I’m not exactly a lover of carrying poop bags.
I’d clean up after the dog and leave the bag on the curb as we walked on. I’d pick up the bag on the return loop and take it home.
So yea…people do this

Thinking one of two thoughts. Someone making a loop walk didn’t want to carry the bag all the way around, and you picked it up before they returned.
Or, they just don’t like you.
I’m thinking the first option.

Sorry, not interested in seeing little green poop bags left on the sides of the roads waiting for a hopeful return from the owner. Your dog, your poop, take it with you. No excuses accepted.
