None of these services prevent anything, even the ones you pay for. All they do is to notify you that there has been some type of activity concerning your deed. It is up to you to take action. There is no way to lock your title.

One thing I’ve learned is this; if you sign up for anything “free” on the internet, it’s eventually gonna cost you. Free advice.

I find that most free advice is worth what you pay for it.
