Where? I want to go!

Go south of Route 44 to the Village of Bradford. Behind the neighborhood pool you will find a walking/biking path. Get on the path and go to the right.

The path goes along the lakes bordering Bradford, then crosses a very narrow bridge to the Village of St. Catherine. Then the path goes along the lakes bordering St. Catherine until it reaches Meggison Road in the Village of Citrus Grove. Turn left to follow the path and continue on to the Homestead Recreation Area.

The path stops there and you can see where the path will be extended to three new Villages.

Down in the new area south of route 44, they have nice off street paths for bikes and walkers.

I’m sorry but when it happens every single day, I don’t consider that an isolated incident

The other phrase, drive with care is key. Yes it is a golf cart community and we have one. My complaint is those who don’t drive with care.

Walker1990 02-21-2022 09:31 AM

Thanks we have been there. Very nice trail

The problem is that there is no clear direction provided for bicyclists. They should either make bicyclists ride on the streets or on the MMP's but not both.

Sorry, they have full rights to ride in both places, as do golf carts on the 30 MPH and less streets. Bike riders pay the same association fees as everyone else and do less damage to the multi-modal paths.

I agree

Walker1990 02-21-2022 10:11 AM

Don’t have a membership and you try riding 20 miles on a stationery bike. BORING
The point of the post was to raise awareness to the fact that the trails are for sharing safely so act accordingly

Awareness: Friendliest Hometown is just a sales slogan.

Yup. Enlightened is the way to go. Move south and ride until your hearts content and get of the cart paths or ride in street

Are you serious? You advise riding a bicycle in the street as a safe alternative to riding on an MMP??

Bogie Shooter 02-21-2022 10:31 AM

These bike threads are becoming as numerous as dog poop threads.........
Really nothing new on either.
