Default Friendly Reminder For Returning Snowbirds

Just a quick friendly reminder as many of our seasonal folks return for the season.

1) Parking spaces hold 2 golf carts, one forward and one back. Also be careful to leave enough room for the car next to the space to be able to open the door.

2) When you are out walking for exercise or walking the dog, always walk facing oncoming traffic. With electric and quieter gas carts, you'll never hear em coming if your back is to them.

Be Safe.

Sound advice and don't park lengthwise in a parallel parking spot. Thanks.

Great post, but I really think that most believe that common sense in parking and walking doesn't apply to them.

Yes, but it is not common sense to not park lengthwise in a parallel parking space when you always do that with the car, for those who are new to golf carts, so at least I am learning and appreciating the advice.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WAS NOT THE CAR THAT PARKED NEXT TO THE GOLF CART?

Perhaps the golf cart was parked there first and Froggie decided to Park her car in the spot where 3 other carts could have parked?

Wow! It must be heaven in the closed season in TV.
No accidents, no bad parking, roundabouts run like clockwork, pedestrians, golf cart drivers, bicyclists all in perfect harmony.
Absolutely nothing to complain about!!

Why direct this to only snowbirds. Do you think full time residents have more brainpower? Wrong!

Here's another I forgot....NEVER park your golf cart in the lined space next to handicapped parking. That goes for snowbirds, Frogs and anyone else who feels they are entitled enough to be that stupid.
