I once found a lizard in the toilet and once found a frog peeking up from the bathroom drain when I turned on the water. Ever since then I always flush the toilet before using it. If a lizard can come up a snake can too.

My husband told me a story that happened before we met. He was with a friend who was looking at a home to buy or maybe it was a rental. The realtor was showing the kitchen and there was a BIG snake lying across the curtain rod above a slider door. I don't know what kind of snake it was but it took up a good portion of the curtain rod.

I love all types of animals. We have the lizards coming inside every month or so. Our ceiling is eighteen feet high. Up to now, I have gone crazy to rescue every one that we notice inside. It is getting a bit challenging though. Moving out the regular fridge, wine fridge, dishwasher, climbing up a ladder. I'm concerned I may have a med issue catching and releasing these things. Last one I said, "he has to live with his poor choices". One AM I'm out searching for him.
Everytime I use the outside grill I have to inspect it. We have a frog that likes to live by the side burner. He gets inside/under the burner flap, after crawling under the grill cover.

Frogs and snakes get into the house via the toilet!

Check outside there are large white caps that the mowers can cut the top off. We had a frog and found the broken cap.
