OPEC and the market control the price of oil.

it is if you prepared for the future and had solar installed. or you can sit and eat another donut and complain about it until another cheese doodle gets elected and promises you the world.

and its not about saving... its the road less traveled, no pun intended. (did we forget the carter years and odd number plates get 5 gallons today?)

skippy05 03-06-2022 06:23 AM

$4/Gallon will seem cheap before long. Those in power started this on their day 1 on purpose.

Only solution is to send hunter and designate him as a minister with portfolio and chain his laptop to his wrist. He'll save the big guy and the rest of us.
Like yogi said " deja vu all over again"

Lindsyburnsy 03-06-2022 06:28 AM

Probably higher. It's been much higher before too. Wars have consequences. Instead of oil companies making less profit when gas production goes down, we the people are forced to make up for it. Watch and see if big oil companies loose money next year. I'll bet not. Putin has never been trustworthy and making EU somewhat dependant on his country's gas has them and to an extent us, right where he wants. The guy is a madman and now threatening nukes to those that are fighting against him.

Lindsyburnsy 03-06-2022 06:32 AM

Electric car useage is more than saving on gas. When no one was driving during the height of the pandemic, the skies were so much clearer, just check the before and after pandemic photos of of China. It is shocking.

Lindsyburnsy 03-06-2022 06:33 AM

Oil companies making up for low consumption during the pandemic. At least we can get on with our lives once again.

Companies on federal land, offshore, fracking etc are now prevented from drilling thanks to an executive order. This was done on the first day by this administration gleefully hurting America. Many friends and family members have lost their jobs over the past year

Lindsyburnsy 03-06-2022 06:40 AM

Yes it does. Thank God we are pulling back together all the countries who no longer felt they could trust us over the past 4 years and NATO is not only stronger, but other countries want to join. At least Putin hasn't been given the keys to the city that he came so close to getting.

And oil to produce enough electricity. The absurdity of this all.

Sales of:

RV's , V8/V12's , Boats (non sail) will be a thing of the past soon.

Yep, they look good until you get stuck on the interstate for 15 hours in freezing weather.
Run out of power then have to walk 5 miles to get a gallon of electricity...

Gas prices are over $6.00 per gallon in some areas of California. How high will they go there?

Putin, clearly. And for my part I'm happy to pay some more money if it will help stop his aggression in our world. Prices of anything that is related to fuel will go up, and that is virtually every consumer goods anyone purchases. Again, we have to stop Putin's aggression.

Walmart dropped gases yesterday by .20 a gallon.

mamamia54 03-06-2022 07:50 AM

Soon we will be saying remember when gas was only $3.99.

OhioBuckeye 03-06-2022 07:57 AM

Well that’s what the Dem. voted for. It is what it is!

OhioBuckeye 03-06-2022 07:59 AM

Let me think about that one!

OhioBuckeye 03-06-2022 08:02 AM

By Memorial Day it’s be $5.00 or close to it!
