Bargains & Treasures has a great selection and are a pleasure to deal with. We’ve gotten a sofa, dining table, coffee table, etc. from them.

I have several pieces of furniture that I am selling. I have a leather sofa that looks like new, a china cabinet, a dining room table and chairs ...... all pieces available to view on the sales area.

There are three thrift stores in Wildwood that offer furniture for sale at very reasonable prices and proceeds go to help the less fortunate. Two are run by Church groups and one by a veterans group. Bargains and blessings and Our mother's attic are on route 301 in Wildwood then Restoring Hope is on route 44 just off 301. All three will deliver for a price and have furniture and lamps kitchen supplies etc. Next Door newsletter also sells many used furniture items but you would usually have to pick it up yourself as from individual residents. Good luck.

Teedlejo 11-26-2020 10:04 AM

I have 3 end tables that are in very good condition if you are interested.

pmken2 11-26-2020 10:19 AM

I agree on Bargains and Treasures. Almost perfect has a huge selection, but I think they are overpriced also.

As a matter of fact a lot of what they offer is new.

Almost perfect is high priced

If you consider new we’ve had good luck and inexpensive prices at City Furniture in Lake Sumter Landing. They have several packages put together for many of the villages models. They are no pressure and will take the time to show you many options.

Expect long delays if purchasing new furniture!

Both of my two eldest children moved from CT to The Villages this year and purchased quite a bit of new furniture. Both experienced exceptionally long delays in delivery of furniture, appliances and service providers for installations. Talk about that sort of thing with the vendor in advance so that you have realistic expectations beforehand - if you need anything new.

Curtisbwp 11-26-2020 11:13 AM

On 27/441 is nearly new furniture very good quality, good priced and delivery. They also have an inventory of new furniture.

lkp24 11-26-2020 11:38 AM

May also look at New Life Carpenters for Christ, Call Jo 313-706-2568 Good used furniture, and $ goes to a great cause

Ye Olde Thrift Shoppe - Old Dixie Highway off 441 Beautiful selections. The Thrift Shop supports The Villages Regional Hospital with equipment and other needs.

Daily estate sales have bargains, too.

Just another option. Good luck.

Hydeps 11-26-2020 01:30 PM

I’m interested. Moving in now and need beds for sons coming during Christmas.

Restoring Hope Thrift Store 352-748-1855.

I've gotten a few things at Almost Perfect on 411. Very pleased

Villagesgal 11-26-2020 01:54 PM

Our Mother's Attic on 301 in Wildwood. Very nice things at very reasonable prices. Run by a church, they support a free clinic in Wildwood and a food bank. Check them out.

Joebrads 11-26-2020 02:45 PM

We've liked almost perfect and centsible furniture.

kayak 11-26-2020 04:01 PM

Centsible Furnishings on Hwy 441 about a mile north of Hwy 42. It's an upscale thrift store with reasonable prices. All inventory is from donations so it's different each time you go. If you hit it just right you may find something unique that you just have to have. A favorite for many and you will find the front parking lot is usually full. All proceeds go to their charity to help needy families in our tri county area.

vitacr 11-26-2020 07:29 PM

Suggest Centsible Furnishings on 441, 1 mi north of 42 and Baptist Thrift Store on 441 in Leesburg. Great prices. FYI - Centisible is a concerted effort of over 30 churches in our area & all proceeds from the donated items are given back to the Lake, Sumter & Marion county needy.

Mrprez 11-26-2020 08:38 PM

We went by Baptist Thrift Store yesterday, it looked like they had closed. The parking area out front was blocked off. Couldn’t really get a good look though.

Ss6247 11-27-2020 03:05 AM

I have a BEAUTIFUL LIKE NEW, Amish handmade kitchen table that would cost you over $1,000 if you tried to buy one new. It’s only a year and a half old and I need to sell it. It has no scratches whatsoever on it and looks brand new. I’m selling it for only $400 OBO. If interested, call me at 210-542-1634

You can find some nice furniture on Facebook’s Marketplace and Craigslist. :clap2:

Renaissance Room on 60th Ave in Ocala off of Rt 200. They have the most beautiful used furniture and best selection of any place around. They also have a large selection of accent pieces. Everything they have is in A1 perfect condition.

PennyAnn 11-27-2020 08:29 AM

Talk of the Villages has great ads every day. And Facebook Marketplace. And estatesales.net The used furniture stores abound, but some can be expensive. Why not pay less and get better quality? Good luck. And welcome.

Idaholady 11-27-2020 08:43 AM

Bargains and Treasures is the best. $40 delivery fee no matter what you buy. There are also good things on TOTV classified.

Centsible Furnishings (Love inc) is a church affiliated store that sells good furniture at good prices. Surprised noone has mentioned them. They are located on 27/441 just north of 42 about a mile or so. Worth going to look and if you don't see what you want talk to the store manager. They've got a warehouse full that they'll negotiate on

Angelagray1200@gmail.com 11-27-2020 06:39 PM

Is this still available?

IMO, you can't beat the Love, Inc. thrift store on 441, just north of The Villages. Good quality "stuff" and prices.

Good luck.

Go to estate sales, usually the last day they discount everything, and furniture seems to sell the slowest, so there are some really good deals on very nice furniture, especially in the more exclusive neighborhoods.
