The Villages Pops Chorus returns for its third annual Holiday Concert “Gettin’ In the Mood for Christmas” on Monday December 5 at North Lake Presbyterian Church. There will be two concerts, one at 3 PM and one at 6 PM. Tickets are $12 and are available through all Villages Box Office Locations and online, and will be available at the door if not sold out. The Villages Pops Chorus is a 501c3 charitable organization and proceeds from this concert will be donated to All One Family and Helping Hands.

The 140 voice Pops Chorus is well-known for providing concerts that leave the audience smiling, singing, and feeling the spirit of the holiday season. This year’s show includes a take on the Glenn Miller classic “In The Mood” complete with holiday appropriate lyrics. The chorus is backed by a 10-piece band that makes the most of playing this big band hit. Other holiday favorites include “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “I Love the Winter Weather”, “Grown Up Christmas List”, and “Frosty The Snowman” like you’ve never heard him before! There are also lovely ballads such as “The Peace Carol” and “I Wish You Christmas” written by John Rutter. Expect fun, surprises, and some very beautiful music to start your Holiday season.
