As you are probably aware The Villages Girl Scout Alumnae Group Pajama and Book Drive has begun. There are red boxes in every rec center for donations of new pjs and books. The pajamas and books benefit the over 6000 homeless children of Lake, Marion and Sumter County including the victims of domestic violence, those homeless due to unforeseen circumstances and children of the Ocala National Forest. Due to the generosity of you and fellow Villagers these children will not have to sleep in the same clothes they wore during the day. Thank you to all Villagers for being the most generous group of individuals I know.

The Villages Girl Scout Alumnae group wants to thank all the Villagers who donated to the PJ and book drive. Due to your generosity we hit our goal of over 6000 pairs of pajamas for the homeless children of Lake, Marion and Sumter county. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We could never do this without you, our wonderful and generous neighbors.
