Default Restaurant Rule?

I overheard a conversation at one of the country club restaurants last night that made me wonder. A person told another that there must be at least one Villages resident in every party that is served at one of those country clubs. Is that true, because I've never been asked to show a valid Villages ID at any of those restaurants. Does someone know the rule on this if there is one?

I never heard of that, either. They certainly don't check for ID's in any other restaurant or business establishment in TV.

I've never heard that. To my knowledge the country club restaurants are fully open to the public.

Katie Belle's and Cattle Baron are the only restaurants that require a Villages ID card. However, they rarely check and they are not Country Clubs.

Interesting I have had to show my ID every time I went to Katie Belles and the Cattle Baron, but NEVER at any of the country club restaurants.

Speaking of rumors, yesterday I heard a lady telling another one that people come by and check your id's when you are at the pool and if you don't have one you get thrown out. If you are with a resident they get fined for letting you into the pool area. Makes perfect sense, no?

We've only made it to the neighborhood pool once since we moved down in mid December, but they did check IDs that day. Not sure about the fines for bringing in a guest. That could be avoided with a guest ID.

The last 3 or 4 times I went to Katie Belle's they were checking Villages ids at the door.

At my neighborhood pool, ids are only checked occasionally. I have never heard of fines.
