Default Golf cart bridge for 44 under construction.

For those of you who don't get down south that much, the following are pictures taken today of the building of the golf cart bridge to be placed across 44 in the near future. It looks similar to a rail road bridge and to be able to handle such a load as a train.

That bridge could handle a full length of double stacked carts and never have a structural failure.

Good pics.

We noticed parts of the bridge last week, on the ground. Things are moving right along

Cool! The one going over the turnpike will be similar style and appearance but I assume even larger. 10 months away, give or take, for golf cart connectivity. They are working at it from both ends. A few weeks ago, the tunnels were opened that allows us "southerners" to cart under CR501 and 468/Warm Springs. As of this past week, we can now cart part of what will be the trail that leads to the turnpike bridge.

Thank You TPK for taking the time to update us on the progress on these bridges. I am encouraged to see the support members going across the top and sides of the structure. Looks like they are doing the correct thing again by enclosing the entire operation. It will end up being beautiful and very functional and safe.

Pictures taken from the Cub today of the bridge build. There is of yet no indication from the air as to where the golf cart path will go south of 44.

Hopefully they made those new bridges wider than the Morse and the Spanish Springs bridges. Can't tell from photos.

Using the car parking bays alongside as a comparison, bridge would appear to be nearly two bays wide.

Thanks for the awesome pics. Great to see them and keeping us all up-to-date since we have not yet moved in permanently in DeSoto. Hoping to accomplish this soon do.
