In the March 25th Daily Sun article on amenities states that the first bridge will be 232-foot long and 20-foot wide.

My Yamaha cart with mirrors sticking out measures 4 1/2 feet so that bridge will be plenty wide.

Aren't they multi-purpose? Cart, pedestrian, bicycle etc?

Default sr44

to all, I agree 20 ft wide is great, be I believe a 4 foot path will be left for bikes and walkers, if im right that leaves appox 16 feet, split x2 makes 8 feet per path...…………… plenty of room

and if im right the brownwood bridge, now built, and at the same size, will show painted lanes, 2 for carts and 1 you walkers and bikers

The Multi Modal Paths south of CR466 are 16 ft wide, so the bridge should not be an impediment to travel.

That's the target. And TV is known for hitting target time lines or even being early.

As for the comment about packing a sleeping bag - I say just wait and see. The estimate that was given for the trip from Fenney area to Brownwood was that it would be about the same as Village of Osceola Hills to Brownwood. Given the projected trail path and the progress made on it so far, that estimate looks about right. Of course, it will depend on your actual starting point. For me, I timed it out at 8 minutes, by cart, to get from my driveway to the other side of the tunnel that is now open under 468 (where Everglades Rec Center is being built). Many people will be significantly closer than that and some a couple minutes further away.
