Seat belts

In the 15 years I have lived in TV I have seen two women and 1 man on the pavement next to a golf cart. The one man involved had some medical problem, passed out, his cart hit the curb and he was ejected. His head hit the curb and he was airlifted to the hospital. I'm not sure if he survived. Both of the women were ejected when the cart made a sharp turn and they didn't. Both suffered head injuries are were taken to the hospital by ambulance. My wife is a nurse and gave first aid until the emt's arrived. All of these injuries could have been avoided! Before we moved here an accident happened when a young mother, in a pickup truck, lost control, went up a bank, was ejected or fell out, her truck rolled back down the bank rolled over her and killed her. Her baby was uninjured in her car seat! The only statistic that matters is the safety of you and your passenger. We've had seat belts in our last two carts and we use them.

Over the years, I've know a few people who have drank beers while they drove home from work. But they're mostly in jail now. :beer3:
